Are you just starting a new business and need a website? Have you been given the task of updating your current website? Then you may have a lot of questions, including not knowing what questions to ask.
Do I need a new website or is there something equivalent to a used website?
Everyone needs a “new car” fresh custom-designed website. Because, every business is unique and has needs that are anything but standard. Besides, who would want to have a website built on a homemade or cheap template? Especially if that template were built just to sell businesses cheap, boring websites?
What do I need to do if I want to start building my new website by myself?
If you want to build your own website, there three things you should know, especially if you are considering ‘do it yourself’.
- Most business websites also include either ASP and SQL or PHP and MySQL.
- You will need a domain name, and a web server (web host company). Both of these services require ongoing attention.
Do you want a professional who knows how to code?
A professional web designer or developer knows when the code changes, and when to update your website with the new code, plus they will have someone who will keep up with the information your website requires so that it can tell the world about your business? Occasionally, friends accuse me of being too detailed. They ask what time is it, and I began describing how to build a “watch.” So instead of instead of learning to code, let me tell you about what you need to build your new amazing website:
